The Alkaline Compatibility Suite determines whether your Web hosting provider is compatible with Alkaline. Most, but not all, Web hosting providers are compatible. For a detailed look at system requirements, read “Compatibility and Purchasing”.

Instructions

1. Download the compatibility suite.
2. Unarchive (usually by double-clicking) the Alkaline_CS.zip file on your computer.
3. Upload the alkaline_cs.php file to your Web server (via FTP or otherwise).
4. Open yourdomain.com/alkaline_cs.php in your Web browser.

Results

• Compatible? Great, buy now to download Alkaline.
• Incompatible? Contact your Web hosting provider’s support staff and tell them we sent you, along the URL of the compatibility suite on your site. They will likely be able to make things right.
• Doesn’t load? You’re likely running PHP 4, not PHP 5.
